Do you watch Taken? Recently, NBC announced they’ve renewed the TV series for a second, but will you watch? What do you think?
Based on the film franchise starring Liam Neeson, the action drama stars Clive Standen as a younger Bryan Mills, a former Green Beret who embarks on a quest for vengeance after a personal tragedy. The cast also includes Jennifer Beals, Gaius Charles, Brooklyn Sudano, Monique Gabriela Curnen, Michael Irby, James Landry Hébert, Jose Pablo Cantillo, Simu Liu, and Ali Kazami.
The renewal was a little bit surprising, give that season one of Taken has not performed all that well in the ratings. Overall, it averaged a 1.00 rating in the 18-49 demo and 5.132 million viewers, making it one of NBC‘s lower-rated new series for the 2016-2017.
Nevertheless, the network decided to give Taken another chance and renewed it for a second season, probably because of the show’s international success.
