The Big Bang Theory: Season 12 Teases, When We’ll Know If It’s the Final Year

The Big Bang Theory TV show on CBS: season 11 and season 12

How many more seasons will The Big Bang Theory last? Recently, the cast and creators discussed season 12 and the future of the CBS TV show, via The Hollywood Reporter.

The popular sitcom debuts its 12th season on CBS on September 24th at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The cast includes Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Mayim Bialik, Simon Helberg, Melissa Rauch, Kunal Nayyar, and Kaley Cuoco.

At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, showrunner Steve Holland teased some plans for season 12:

The premiere episode coming back we’re going to see Sheldon and Amy on their honeymoon.”

And what about the future of the show? Holland says The Big Bang Theory will end on their terms when it does:

I’m sure we’ll know before we’re writing the last half of the season — or before — whether we’re writing a series or a season finale. That’s really important. We need to know what we’re doing to make sure that if it is the end, to give the best ending we can and the best closure to these characters.”

What do you think? Do you watch The Big Bang Theory? Are you excited for the new season?
