The Daily Show with Jon Stewart: Host to Depart After Nearly 17 Years

Last night, Jon Stewart announced that he would be departing The Daily Show later this year, ending a run of nearly 17 years at the anchor desk. Stewart began hosting the program, which was renamed to The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, on January 11, 1999.
