TV show description:
This single-camera comedy follows Eleanor Shellstrop (Kristen Bell) on an unusual journey. She’s an ordinary woman who enters the afterlife and, thanks to some kind of error, is sent to the Good Place instead of the Bad Place (which is definitely where she belongs).
While hiding in plain sight from the wise architect of the Good Place, Michael (Ted Danson), Eleanor’s determined to shed her old ways and discover the better person inside.
Helping Eleanor navigate her new surroundings is her kind, open-hearted “soul mate”, Chidi (William Jackson Harper). He sees the good in people but finds himself facing quite a dilemma with Eleanor.
Eleanor’s seemingly perfect new neighbors are Tahani (Jameela Jamil) and Jianyu (Manny Jacinto). Meanwhile, Janet (D’Arcy Carden) is the go-to source for any and all information in the Good Place.
