Are you still sad Netflix cancelled The Joel McHale Show? Recently, McHale addressed the streaming service’s decision to end the TV show, Variety reports.
The clip show took a comedic look at news and pop culture in the vein of McHale’s cancelled E! TV show The Soup. Guests included Gillian Jacobs, Paul Feig, Jack Black, Bill Nye, Drew Barrymore, Nicole Byer, and Timothy Olyphant.
During a recent interview on Sirius XM’s “Jim Norton and Sam Roberts” show, McHale explained why he thinks Netflix cancelled The Joel McHale Show:
I don’t think they liked my sweaters. Obviously Netflix has trained their audience to binge watch, and we actually tried that, as well. But so far people aren’t watching Netflix that way.”
