“A second chance is a beautiful thing.” TBs just announced the season two premiere date for The Last OG.

The comedy stars Tracy Morgan as Tray, who returns to his hometown of Brooklyn after 15 years in prison. The cast also includes Tiffany Haddish, Cedric the Entertainer, Allen Maldonado, Ryan Gaul, Taylor Mosby, Dante Hoagland, and Joel Marsh Garland.

Season two of The Last OG premieres on TBS on April 2nd at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT.

LOS ANGELES – January 15, 2019 – Comedy superstars Tracy Morgan and Tiffany Haddish are back for a second helping of The Last O.G., which debuted as 2018’s #1 new cable comedy and the biggest cable comedy premiere since 2015, reaching 43.1 million viewers across all platforms in season one. The series, co-created by Jordan Peele, will return to TBS on Tuesday, April 2 at 10:30pm ET/PT.

After losing his job, Tray (Morgan) goes all in on his dreams of becoming a chef. Tiffany Haddish stars as Tray’s ex-girlfriend Shay, who has an intriguing business venture of her own on the horizon. Season two also features returning series regulars Ryan Gaul, who plays Shay’s affable husband Josh; Allen Maldonado, who plays Tray’s goofy but well-intentioned cousin Bobby; and Taylor Mosby and Dante Hoagland, who play Tray and Shay’s teenage children, Shahzad and Amira.

Among the new guest stars joining the cast in Brooklyn are legendary hip hop artists Method Man, Rev Run, Talib Kweli, and Rakim, as well as Bresha Webb (Marlon), Diarra Kilpatrick (American Koko), Anna Maria Horsford (The Bold and the Beautiful), Joshua Rivera (Escape at Dannemora), Dan Hedaya (The Usual Suspects), Brian Sacca (Wrecked), and Jack McBrayer (30 Rock).
