The Magicians: Season Four Ratings

The Magicians TV show on Syfy: season 4 ratings (canceled or renewed season 5?)

Last year, The Magicians TV show was still working its Nielsen ratings magic for Syfy. The show ranked number one in the demo and slipped to number two, just behind the freshman outing of Krypton. Now that it is back for a fourth season, will the spell still hold? Will The Magicians be cancelled or renewed for season five? Stay tuned. *Status update below.

Based on Lev Grossman’s best-selling books, The Magicians stars Jason Ralph, Stella Maeve, Olivia Taylor Dudley, Hale Appleman, Arjun Gupta, Summer Bishil, Rick Worthy, Jade Tailor, Brittany Curran, and Trevor Einhorn. The supernatural Syfy drama follows Quentin Coldwater (Ralph) and his friends as they hone their magical abilities and fight off evil threats. Last year ended with The Monster finding a mind-wiped Quentin. In season four, it will also seek out the others, and something else, as well.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.
