The Mandalorian, WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier: Disney CEO Teases 2020 Premieres

The Mandalorian TV Show on Disney+: canceled or renewed?

Disney+ has a big line-up coming to the streaming service this upcoming fall. Disney’s CEO, Bob Iger, teased the premieres of three projects, including season two of The Mandalorian. The other two projects are from the Marvel universe.

First up, fans will see Marvel’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier arrive in August. The series stars Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie, as they reprise their roles from the Marvel films. No details on the plot revealed, but it will pick up after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Fans saw Captain America, played by Chris Evans, pass on the torch to Mackie, so fans should expect to see Falcon’s transition and how he deals with being the new Captain America on the series.

As for Marvel’s Wandavision, fans will see that series arrive in December. The series stars Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, and it takes “inspiration from 1950s sitcoms,” per The Hollywood Reporter. Check out a photo of the pair for a taste of that below. The pair will soon figure out that something isn’t right in their sitcom world.

As for the return of The Mandalorian, fans will see more of Baby Yoda in October. Disney+ is also working on two other Star Wars related projects. One featuring Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi, and the other a prequel series from the Rogue One era.

Exact premiere dates were not given for any of the shows. Disney+ also teased the premieres with a Super Bowl teaser. Check that out below.
