The Muppets Mayhem is having their big break cut short. Per Deadline, Disney+ has cancelled the musical comedy series after one season of ten episodes. Based on Jim Henson’s characters, Adam F. Goldberg co-created the series with Bill Barretta and Jeff Yorkes.
Starring Lilly Singh, Tahj Mowry, and Saara Chaudry, the series follows Electric Mayhem as they work on their first album. The band was brought to life by Barretta, Eric Jacobson, Matt Vogel, David Rudman, Dave Goelz, and Peter Linz.
Goldberg has been working on other projects to expand the Muppetverse for Disney+.
