The Office: NBC Sitcom Says Goodbye; What Did You Think?

Tonight, NBC said goodbye to one of their most successful shows of the past eight years, The Office. After nine seasons, the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company has closed its doors.

The finale takes place a year after the documentary has aired and shows where everyone is in their lives. They come together for a special reunion Q & A session. Thanks to Jim, that coincides with Dwight’s very unique wedding to Angela. Jim was supposed to be Dwight’s best man for the ceremony but, at the last minute, he steps aside to make way for a special return guest.

In the final moments of the episode, the characters speak to the camera for one last time, thanking the documentary producers for the impact that the project has made on their lives. It’s not a stretch to imagine that the actors have similar feelings about the show and its viewers.
