The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives will not be going anywhere anytime soon. Hulu has ordered twenty more episodes of the reality series. This will take the series through season seven.
However, there is some bad news for those who watch the series. According to Deadline, season five will have be cut down to only five episodes. The season will arrive later this year on the streaming service. This shortened episode count is due to the drama surrounding Taylor Frankie Paul.
Paul, Demi Engemann, Jennifer Affleck, Jessi Ngatikaura, Layla Taylor, Mayci Neeley, Mikayla Mathews, and Whitney Leavitt star in the reality series, which follows those involved in the #MomTok hashtag.
Taylor said the following about the series in a recent podcast appearance:
“It’s no secret that MomTok has been going through some drama this year. It was the start of the blow up, it was definitely a darker season but a necessary one to understand where everyone’s at.”
The premiere date for season five will be announced later.
