Let’s take some E! for the last time. According to Variety, E! has cancelled their long-running clip comedy show, The Soup.
Hosted by Joel McHale, The Soup began in 2004 and will be ending on December 18th.
A revamp of Talk Soup, the clip series featured a satirical take on the many absurdities of television. Popular targets included Tyra Banks, teen soaps, and the reality series of E! itself.
The series has been running for 22 seasons and McHale signed a two-year extension for The Soup back in 2014. The network hasn’t commented on why the show was cancelled before the deal ended.
