The Taste: Season Three Ratings

This cooking competition didn’t do that well in the ratings in its first season and then the numbers dropped a lot lower in season two. ABC still renewed The Taste for a third round. Will the ratings go up in season three or will they drop lower? Cancelled or renewed for season four? Stay tuned.

The Taste is a culinary competition that pits professional and amateur cooks against one another in weekly challenges. The returning judges/mentors are Anthony Bourdain, Nigella Lawson, Ludo Lefebvre, and Marcus Samuelsson.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

5/8 update: ABC has cancelled The Taste after three seasons and 23 episodes.

Final season averages: 0.8 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.13 million total viewers.
