AXS TV has renewed The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands TV series for a sixth season. The show is moving to Wednesday nights on AXS (formerly HDNet).
Katie Daryl is set to return as host. Season six of The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands premieres February 17, 2016, at 10:00pm.

[The show] will remain live and at home in Hollywood’s Whisky A Go Go.
Host and producer Katie Daryl […] has curated a lineup featuring 10 top tribute bands this season that will perform memorable tunes from some of the most iconic artists in history. Groups will pay homage to The Doors, Van Halen, Neil Young, Chicago, Guns ‘N Roses, Rush, the Bee Gees, Billy Idol, Sublime and Pink Floyd this season, in that order.
“This season we are truly embracing the Sunset Strip experience by paying tribute to many of the artists who called the Whisky A Go Go home and cemented its place in music history,” Daryl told us. “Our lineup this season rocks through four decades of hits and those who tune in will be amazed as these incredible songs come to life on ‘The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands.’”
