The X-Files will return to FOX with its six-episode mini season, and there is more for the fans to see to help with the wait.
FOX released three new posters for The X-Files revival this week. The new posters, shared by MovieWeb, make it clear that aliens are still very much a part of the series.
What is not a part of the series is the romantic relationship between Mulder and Scully, who are played by David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson. The two finally coupled up on the series, but the pair are now separated for the new series.
The news that the couple had split during the time between the last film and this new revival shocked many fans, but Chris Carter explained the split recently to TV Guide. Carter said that he wanted to “be honest about where I felt the characters would be. There’s always the possibility that they will patch up their differences.”
