TV show description:
FBI Agents Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) investigate cases involving paranormal phenomena, classified as “X-Files.”
Mulder is the “believer,” having faith in the existence of aliens and the paranormal, while Scully is the skeptic and often works to disprove Mulder’s theories. They work under the direction of Assistant Director Walter S. Skinner (Mitch Pileggi).
Later in the series, FBI Agents John Doggett (Robert Patrick) and Monica Reyes (Annabeth Gish) are prominently featured.
Episodes 201 & 202 – The Truth, parts one and two
A.D. Skinner and Agent Scully learn that Mulder (who has been missing for a year) is being charged for a murder he couldn’t have committed: Knowle Rohrer, one of the government’s secret super-soldiers. With Skinner leading Mulder’s defense, many characters of the last nine years testify on his behalf. Scully uncovers the truth but the military tribunal isn’t interested and convicts Mulder anyway. With some unlikely help, Mulder escapes and he and Scully are told to flee the continent by 24 hours. Instead, the two end up in a motel room in Roswell, New Mexico, holding each other in bed.
