Thursday TV Show Ratings: Glee, Last Resort, Person of Interest, Beauty and the Beast, Scandal

Beauty and the Beast ratingsThursday, November 8, 2012 ratings — New episodes: The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men, The Voice, The X Factor, Last Resort, The Vampire Diaries, Grey’s Anatomy, Person of Interest, The Office, Glee, Beauty and the Beast, Parks and Recreation, Elementary, Scandal, and Rock Center with Brian Williams.

On CBS, The Big Bang Theory once again won the night in both the coveted 18-49 demographic and total viewership. It registered a 5.0 rating (down 4% week-to-week) with 16.5 million viewers. Two and a Half Men drew a 4.0 rating (up 11%) with 14.1 million.

At 9pm, Person of Interest brought a 3.2 rating (0% change) with 9.2 million. Elementary then drew a 2.2 rating (-8% change) with 10.7 million.

On NBC, a special edition of The Voice drew a 3.0 rating (down 21% compared to yesterday’s edition) with 9.1 million viewers. The sitcoms that followed benefited from the stronger lead-in however. The Office was up by 32% in the demo with a 2.5 rating and 5.3 million. Parks and Recreation drew a 1.8 rating (up 6%) with 3.8 million. At 10pm, Rock Center with Brian Williams was down 16% week-to-week with a 1.1 rating and 4.4 million.

On FOX, The X Factor held steady with a 2.3 rating and 6.3 million. The return of Glee drew a 2.4 rating with 5.7 million, down by 8% in the demo when compared to the last original episode on October 4th.

On ABC, Last Resort garnered a 2.3 rating (up 8%) with just under 6.0 million viewers. Grey’s Anatomy followed with a 3.2 rating (+7%) and 9.2 million. Scandal wrapped the night with a 2.0 rating (0% change) and 6.1 million viewers.

And on The CW, The Vampire Diaries attracted a 1.4 rating (tied with Last Resort, down 7%) with 3.0 million viewers. Beauty and the Beast followed with a 0.7 rating (up 17%) and 1.9 million viewers. This was the show’s best performance since week two.
