The ninth season of Grey’s Anatomy typically airs Thursday nights at 9pm on the ABC network. This season, the cast includes Chandra Wilson, Ellen Pompeo, James Pickens Jr, Jesse Williams, Jessica Capshaw, Justin Chambers, Kevin McKidd, Patrick Dempsey, Sandra Oh, Sara Ramirez, and Sarah Drew.

Year-to-year, the season premiere of Grey’s Anatomy was up by 7% in the demo (vs a 4.1 rating) and up by 13% in viewers (vs 10.38 million). These were the best numbers since January 2012.
Reference point: The 2011-12 season averaged a 3.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 9.83 million viewers.

i am so sad and mad that 2 of my favorites on greys are leaving …Of course i was always for Jessie Williams and Sarah Drew to get back together. this new story line between Jackson and Maggie makes me sick , I love April the woman of strong faith and the story lines it makes me sad that after all these years i think this may be my last year of watching Greys why do they always mess with the cast that works. It saddens me that my favorite show now wont be.
Losing Sandra Oh is really a big loss for Grey’s! Shonda please don’t let Derek move away. That would be tantamount to Patrick leaving the show. I and many, many fans will stop watching and your ratings will topple!
Once she took away Sloan and little Grey the ratings quickly declined. I think she should bring Burke back for the drama! And Izzy (as much as I hate to say it). End it with a bang in season 11!
Greys anatomy is the best show ever. Its an emotional experience that just hooks you. This is my favorite show and it should NOT be cancelled.
