Titans has some new company. Entertainment Weekly reports. April Bowlby has joined DC’s upcoming TV show Titans.
From DC Comics, the live-action drama “follows a group of young soon-to-be Super Heroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe.” The cast includes Brenton Thwaites as Robin, Anna Diop as Starfire, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Teagan Croft as Raven, Alan Ritchson as Hawk, Minka Kelly as Dove, and Lindsey Gort as Detective Amy Rohrbach.
On Titans, Bowlby will play Rita Farr, aka Elasti-Girl.” According to EW, “Rita Farr was exposed to a toxic gas that altered her cellular structure — which, in the comics, allows her to expand or shrink her body at will.”
Titans is slated to debut on DC’s upcoming streaming service later this year.
