Bravo has renewed its Top Chef TV series for a 14th season. Since Top Chef season 13 is still airing, there is no reason to be concerned that this competitive cooking contest will be cancelled in the near future.
Hosted by Padma Lakshmi, Top Chef features restauranteur and head judge, Tom Colicchio. Food writer Gail Simmons, and chefs Richard Blais and Emeril Lagasse, complete the judging panel.
Deadline says:
Top Chef is the No. 1 food program on cable in 2016 among P25-54 with this season averaging 1.8 million total viewers and 1.2 million P25-54. That’s up 5%and 6% respectively from the prior season, according to Nielsen.
With numbers like that, on a cable outlet, it is no wonder Bravo wants season 14 of Top Chef.
