Toks Olagundoye is headed to Syfy. Deadline reports the Castle star has joined the network’s Tremors TV show pilot.
Based on the 1990 film, the action drama revisits the town of Perfection 25 years later as the graboids have returned, “and the town’s only hope for survival is Valentine McKee (Kevin Bacon), who beat them once. But to do it again he’ll have to overcome age, alcohol and a delusional hero complex.”
On Tremors, Olagundoye will play “Jessica Florence, an accomplished, city-chic civil engineer, Jessica’s arrival in Perfection instantly piques the curiosity of Val (Bacon).” She joins fellow cast members Shiloh Fernandez, Emily Tremaine, and Megan Ketch.
