Trial & Error: Season Two; Would You Keep Watching the NBC TV Show?

Trial & Error TV show on NBC: season 1 (canceled or renewed?).

What’s the verdict on Trial & Error? The NBC TV show just finished its first season, but will there be a second? If renewed, would you keep watching the comedy series?

The mockumentary centers on Josh Segal (Nicholas D’Agosto), a new lawyer who must defend an eccentric, “rollercizing” poetry professor, Larry Henderson (John Lithgow), who has been accused of murdering his wife. The cast also includes Krysta Rodriguez, Steven Boyer, Jayma Mays, and Sherri Shephed.

Trial & Error premiered in March to a decent rating of 1.38 in the 18-49 demo and 5.92 million viewers. Since then, the numbers have fallen. Overall, season one averaged a 0.92 rating in the 18-49 demo and 3.86 million viewers. While not great ratings, the series has received some critical acclaim and Deadline says there have been conversations with NBC about a possible second season.

What do you think? Have you seen Trial & Error? Should NBC cancel or renew this comedy TV show? Would you watch season two?
