Yahoo has axed yet another original series. Only a few days after canceling plans for their sitcom, The Pursuit, Variety reports the online platform has called off their commitment to Simon Cowell’s new music competition show, Ultimate DJ.
The series was to be a music reality competition that pitted aspiring DJs against each other for a Sony Music recording contract.
The cancellation comes in the wake of Yahoo’s recent announcement that they lost $42 million on their original programming.
No word yet if Yahoo’s dropped projects will be picked up by another network.
