Empire has some new company. The Wrap reports Nia Long will recur on season three of the FOX TV series.
Long most recently starred on the cancelled ABC series Uncle Buck. She will next appear in Netflix’s upcoming series Dear White People.
On Empire, she’ll play Giuliana, a sexy, cold-blooded Las Vegas club queenpin who “rubs elbows with Lucious and goes toe-to-toe with Cookie even as she reckons with her own mysterious past.” She joins regular cast members Terrence Howard, Taraji P. Henson, Trai Byers, Jussie Smollett, and Bryshere Y. Gray.
