TV show description:
This dramatic scripted show gives a behind-the-scenes look at the chaos surrounding the production of a fictitious hit dating competition TV series called Everlasting (which bears a striking resemblance to The Bachelor).

Rachel Goldberg (Shiri Appleby) is a young producer whose sole job is to manipulate her relationships with the show contestants, to get the vital dramatic and outrageous footage that the program’s dispassionate executive producer, Quinn King (Constance Zimmer), demands.

Others who are behind-the-scenes are Everlasting’s eccentric creator, Chet (Craig Bierko); cameraman Jeremy (Josh Kelly) who’s also Rachel’s ex-boyfriend; and make-up artist Lizzie (Siobhan Williams) who’s Jeremy’s current fiancée.

Everlasting’s contestants include the dating show’s handsome and intelligent suitor, Adam Cromwell (Freddie Stroma); Grace (Nathalie Kelley), who immediately wins Adam’s heart; classy and shrewd Anna (Johanna Braddy); a sensitive and vulnerable tomboy from the South named Faith (Breeda Wool); Mary (Ashley Scott), a gorgeous single mom who’s been unlucky in love; and Britney (Arielle Kebbel), a contestant who has no filter and isn’t on Everlasting to make any friends.

What ensues is an eye-opening look at what happens in the outrageous world of unscripted television, where being a contestant can be vicious and being a producer is a whole other reality.

Series Finale:
Episode #38 — Sudden Death
Rachel begins to question her decisions leading up to the finale. Quinn must decide whether to intervene and save the Everlasting finale.
First aired: July 16, 2018.
