Up All Night: Will Arnett Finds a New Job

Up All Night canceled yet?Following multiple departures and NBC’s decision to cut back on the number of episodes of Up All Night, Will Arnett has landed a new role on CBS.

Created by Greg Garcia, the as-yet-untitled sitcom revolves around a recently divorced man whose life becomes more complicated when his parents split. The pilot is set to be directed by James Burrows, the legendary sitcom director who was supposed to helm the new three-camera version of Up All Night.

Technically, the CBS pilot is in second position to Up All Night. So, if the peacock network still wants to try and keep the low-rated sitcom going, Arnett would theoretically have to give up the new role.

That’s extremely unlikely to happen but for some reason, NBC still hasn’t officially given up on Up All Night yet. Presumably they have until May before they have to decide on if they want to renew it for a third season.

What do you think? Should NBC just let Arnett go? Can you think of any reason to keep Up All Night going?
