The final season of The Vampire Diaries on The CW has begun, and there are big things still ahead. Michael Malarkey, the actor behind Enzo on the series, spoke with The Wrap recently about filming the final season. Fans need to ready themselves for some big deaths.

He teased the following about the final season:

“What I love about this season is that it has thrown back a little to the original ‘Vampire Diaries,’ you know, that kind of edge and danger to it. For a while there, in the middle of the show, there was this kind of ‘oh, they died, but they’ll come back.’ We lost, kind of, that danger element. This season, we’re bringing that back in, and people are dying. There are some big deaths that are going to happen, and they’ll be final.”

The Vampire Diaries will wrap its final season on CW in February. Are you excited to see how the story of Damon and Stefan Salvatore ends? Tell us what you think.
