Some new and familiar faces are coming to Veronica Mars. Deadline reports Max Greenfield and Patton Oswalt have joined Hulu’s upcoming revival series.
As reported earlier, the streaming service has ordered a limited revival for the detective drama, which stars Kristen Bell as the private detective Veronica Mars. The show was cancelled by The CW in 2007 after three seasons.
Greenfield played Leo D’Amato during the original run of Veronica Mars. The New Girl star will return for the Hulu revival alongside newcomer Patton Oswalt, who will be playing Penn Epner, a true crime fanatic who also happens to be the “best pizza delivery guy in Neptune.”
The Veronica Mars revival is set to debut on Hulu in 2019.
