It’s happening! TVLine reports Hulu’s Veronica Mars revival will begin production this fall.
The original series starred Bell as the titular Mars, a high school student who moonlights as an amateur detective in the beachside town of Neptune, California. The cast also includes Percy Daggs III, Jason Dohring, Francis Capra, Enrico Colantoni, Ryan Hansen, Teddy Dunn, and Michael Muhney. The show ran for three seasons on UPN/The CW before ending in 2007.
As reported earlier, Hulu is rumored to have ordered a Veronica Mars revival series. And while the streaming service has not officially announced the project, TVLine reports the limited series is set to begin production in October.
Although few details have been released, TVLine says the revival will “revolve around a serial killer terrorizing Neptune.” Stars Kristen Bell and Enrico Colantoni are expected to return.
