The former Spike TV officially rebranded as Paramount Network, just this month. While the cable channel is keeping some of Spike’s more popular reality series, it is also amping up its scripted offerings. The Waco TV show is a limited event series, which recounts the tragic events of 1993, involving the ATF, the FBI, and the Branch Davidians of Mount Carmel, outside Waco, Texas. As a mini-series, cancellation or renewal chances aren’t why we’re tracking the Waco ratings. Instead, we want a benchmark against which we can measure other scripted TV series on the fledgling Paramount Network.
A six-episode drama, Waco stars Michael Shannon, Taylor Kitsch, Andrea Riseborough, John Leguizamo, Melissa Benoist, Paul Sparks, Shea Whigham, Rory Culkin, Julia Garner, Demore Barnes, Christopher Stanley, and Camryn Manheim. It centers on the federal siege on cult leader David Koresh’s Branch Davidian compound, in McLennan County. Following a fatal ATF raid, the Feds and sect members entered into a long standoff. It culminated with an FBI assault on the compound, which then went up in flames and cost 76 additional lives.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

Cable ratings are typically released within a day or so of the show’s airing, except for in the case of weekends and holidays. They are sometimes harder to come by so there may be occasional delays or gaps.
