Wednesday TV Show Ratings: Arrow, Chicago Fire, Nashville, The Neighbors, Animal Practice, Modern Family

Wednesday, October 24, 2012 ratings — New episodes: Survivor, The Middle, Animal Practice, Arrow, The Neighbors, Guys with Kids, Modern Family, Criminal Minds, Law & Order: SVU, Supernatural, Suburgatory, CSI, Nashville, and Chicago Fire. Sports or specials: Game one of the World Series.

On ABC, The Middle drew a 2.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 8.6 million total viewers. There was no change in the demo when compared to last week’s episode. The Neighbors garnered a 2.0 rating (+5% week-to-week) with 6.9 million.

Modern Family attracted a 4.9 demo rating (+4%) with 12.5 million — winning the night in both categories. Suburgatory followed with a 2.7 rating (-4%) and 7.4 million. In its third week, Nashville held steady with a 2.0 rating and 6.6 million.

On CBS, Survivor attracted a 2.8 rating (0% change week-to-week) with 10.1 million. That was followed by Criminal Minds with a 3.0 rating (-3% change) and 11.5 million and CSI with a 2.4 rating (+4%) and 9.8 million.

On NBC, cancelled Animal Practice attracted a 1.2 rating (+9% week-to-week) with 3.8 million and Guys with Kids brought in a 1.3 rating (-7%) and 3.8 million. Law & Order: SVU followed with a 1.8 rating (+13%) and 6.7 million and Chicago Fire drew a 1.8 rating (+20%) with 6.3 million.

On The CW, Arrow dropped 15% in the demo to a 1.1 rating and 3.5 million. That’s still very good by CW standards. Supernatural also dropped, to a 0.7 rating (-30%) with 1.9 million viewers.

On FOX, the first game of the World Series brought a 3.2 rating and 11.0 million total viewers.
