Bloomberg says that the cable channel is in talks to bring back the show and supposedly talks have reached an “advanced stage.” The article also notes that producers have also had talks with other outlets to potentially pick it up. NBC’s cancellation reportedly contributed to a plunge in stock prices that caused Ancestry.com’s stock to lose a third of its value earlier this year. The revival of Who Do You Think You Are? would theoretically help attract more users and boost prospects for the sale of the company.
