Word Party: Season Two Renewal, October Debut for Netflix Children’s Series

Word Party TV show on Netflix: season 2 renewal, season 2 premiere (canceled or renewed?)

Bailey, Franny, Kip, and Lulu will return with more vocabulary-building fun. The Word Party TV show has been renewed for a second season on Netflix. The first season launched on July 8th of this year. The program is created by Bruce McCulloch and produced by The Jim Henson Company.

The Word Party TV series voice cast includes Victor Yerrid, Elizabeth Roberts, Donna Kimball, John Munro Cameron, John Tartaglia, and Alon Williams. Directors include Bret Nelson, David Skelly, and Brian Henson. Word Party season two premieres on Netflix, October 21, 2016.

Netflix says:

Word Party is a vocabulary building show from The Jim Henson Company that follows four adorable baby animals as they sing, dance and play. The show invites our youngest viewers to help teach the baby animals new words, practice these new words themselves, and celebrate these achievements with a “Word Party!” Word Party is produced using the groundbreaking Henson Digital Puppetry Studio, a proprietary technology from Jim Henson’s Creature Shop that allows puppeteers to perform digitally animated characters in real time – enabling the animation to be more lifelike and spontaneous.

What do you think? Did your little ones watch the first season of Word Party? Will your family watch the second on Netflix?
