Welcome to Purgatory! Below, watch the latest official Syfy sneak peek of the Wynonna Earp TV series premiere episode, “Purgatory.” The new supernatural thriller-drama premieres Friday, April 1, 2016, at 10:00pm ET/PT.

Melanie Scrofano stars as Wynonna Earp. Tim Rozon is Doc Holliday. Shamier Anderson plays Agent Xavier Dolls. Dominique Provost-Chalkley is Waverly Earp, Wynonna’s kid sister.

Here is how Syfy describes its new Wynonna Earp TV show, premiering this Friday:

 

Based on the IDW Comic, Wynonna Earp follows Wyatt Earp’s great granddaughter as she battles demons and other creatures. With her unique abilities, and a posse of dysfunctional allies, she’s the only thing that can bring the paranormal to justice.

After years away, Wynonna Earp has traveled back to her home town of Purgatory to reluctantly take on the role destined for Wyatt Earp’s heir: Demon protector. Her enemy: Revenants, the resurrected (and twisted) souls of the criminals Wyatt Earp once took down. Using only her wits and her wit, Wynonna, along with sister Waverely, associate Agent Dolls and Wyatt’s cursed-with-immortality-best-friend Doc Holliday, must try to stop the Revenants from taking over the town – and escaping into the world.

Wynonna Earp stars Melanie Scrofano (Supernatural, Being Erica, and Robocop), Tim Rozonm, Shamier Anderson, and Dominique Provost-Chalkey.

 

Inspired by the comic created by Beau Smith, Wynonna Earp is produced in Calgary, by SEVEN24 Films. The series is distributed by IDW Entertainment. Showrunner and executive producer, Emily Andras (Lost Girl, Killjoys), developed the Wynonna Earp TV show adaptation. SEVEN24’s Jordy Randall and Tom Cox also serve as executive producers on the series.
