48 Hours TV show ratingsA staple of Saturday nights on CBS, 48 Hours has returned for its 26th season. Will it be renewed for a 27th year? It seems hard to imagine the night without it but we shall see.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival.
