Although its ratings have dropped over time, last year they increased, and now The Amazing Race TV show is back for a 31st season on CBS. This cycle even has a new twist. The contestants are all from past seasons of the Tiffany Network’s reality series. In addition to TAR, there are also competitors from Big Brother and Survivor. Phil Keoghan returns to host season 31 of The Amazing Race. This season on CBS once again features 11 pairs of contestants racing around the world in pursuit of a million-dollar prize. Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
