Joy Bryant is coming to HBO. Deadline reports the Parenthood star will recur on season four of Ballers.
The comedy-drama stars Dwayne Johnson as Spencer Strasmore, a former NFL player who has re-invented himself as a financial adviser in Miami, taking on young phenoms and veteran superstars alike. The cast also includes Rob Corddry, John David Washington, Omar Benson Miller, Donovan Carter, Troy Garity, Jazmyn Simon, London Brown, Arielle Kebbel, Dulé Hill, Richard Schiff, and Andy Garcia.
On Ballers, Bryant will play “a successful public defender who is a single mom to a hotshot rising football star in high school.” HBO has yet to announced a premiere date for season four.
