Episodes focus on the design and building of each robot, the bot builders’ backstories, their intense pursuit of the championship, and the spectacle of the event. Commenting on and judging the action are Chris Rose, Kenny Florian, Samantha Ponder, Alison Haislip, Fon Davis, Jessica Chobot, Faruq Tauheed, and Clark Gregg.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival.
