Season two centers on the Monterey Five — Madeline (Witherspoon), Celeste (Kidman), Jane (Woodley), Renata (Dern), and Bonnie (Kravitz), along with Celeste’s visiting mother-in-law, Mary Louise (Streep), as well as their husbands, Ed (Scott), Nathan (Tupper) and Gordon (Nordling). As this installment explores the toxicity of lies, bonds will weaken and no one is safe from the fallout.
