Aida Turturro & Michael Aronov join The Blacklist TV show on NBC: season 5 (canceled or renewed?)

EW reports The Sopranos‘ Aida Turturro will recur in the fifth season of The Blacklist TV show on NBC. She is playing a character named Hawkins, who is described as, “…the brilliant accountant for an unusual business who has saved her own skin by cutting a deal with the Feds against a former business partner she absolutely loathes.” The Blacklist, season five, premieres on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 8:00pm ET/PT on NBC.

According to the report, Tony winner Michael Aronov has landed the recurring role of Smokey Putnum. He’s described as, “…an expert in the art and science of logistics who once managed the travel arrangements of a magnificent, yet unusual, business, but has since fallen on hard times, currently on the run and accused of embezzling over $2 million.” The Blacklist stars James Spader, Megan Boone, Diego Kattenhoff, Ryan Eggold, Harry Lennix, Amir Arison, Mozhan Marnò, and Hisham Tawfiq.
