Alias co-star Kevin Weisman will have a recurring role in NBC’s new Awake series. He’ll play a mysterious character called Mr. Blonde who haunts Detective Britton (Jason Isaacs) in both of his parallel worlds. The character apparently has information about the car accident that changed Britton’s life. Awake will debut sometime in the spring.
Beatrice “Bebe” Neuwirth, the actress who played Doctor Frasier Crane’s ex-wife Lilith, is coming to The Good Wife in a recurring role. On the CBS drama, Neuwirth will play Judge Friend, “a sexy woman with a stern manner and little patience for joking around.” No word on when she’ll first appear.
Azura Skye (Zoe, Duncan, Jack and Jane) will be guest-starring on an upcoming episode of Grimm, as the mild-mannered owner of a bed and breakfast. She also happens to be a Seltenvogel — an extremely rare bird-like creature. Nick (David Giuntoli) helps her escape her abusive husband. The episode is expected to air in the spring.
V’s Morena Baccarin will also be visiting The Good Wife for a guest shot. She’ll play an executive event planner at a large corporation who accuses Colin Sweeney (returning guest Dylan Baker) of sexual harassment. Baccarin’s installment is slated to air in early March.
Colin Hanks (The Good Guys) is taking on his toughest role yet. He’ll be playing Colin Hanks, the new celebrity friend of Dave (Zachary Knighton) on Happy Endings. It seems that Dave’s Steak Me Home Tonight truck becomes a Chicago hotspot with designer drinks. Hanks recently filmed the role and it will air on ABC later this season.
Summer Glau (Dollhouse), who recently booked a role on Grimm, is coming to Grey’s Anatomy next. There’s no word on what role she’ll be playing but Glau will appear in the 16th episode of the season which is expected to air on February 23rd.
Justin Hartley won’t be a part of The CW’s new Green Arrow pilot but the former Smallville hero is coming to Hart of Dixie. He’ll play Jesse, a charming southern boy and war hero who may end up being Zoe’s love interest. The episode will air in the spring. Hartley recently appeared on ABC’s Castle.
Pushing Daisies’ Kristin Chenoweth is one of the stars of ABC’s new GCB series but she still found time to film an episode of TV Land’s Hot in Cleveland. According to executive producer Sean Hayes (Will & Grace), Chenoweth will play a Los Angeles friend who comes to stay with the ladies after she breaks up with her longtime boyfriend, a Beverly Hills dermatologist. The episode will air in May.
George Stults (7th Heaven) has been signed to play the brother of his real-life sibling, Geoff Stults, on The Finder. The character is a musician and comes to tell Walter that their father is dying and wants him to find their mother before he goes to the great beyond. The episode will air in late March. On 7th Heaven, Geoff and George also played brothers — Ben and Kevin Kinkirk.
Law & Order’s Courtney B. Vance is heading back to the courtroom as the high-powered divorce attorney for Victoria (Madeline Stowe) on ABC’s Revenge. He’s a no-nonsense guy who takes control of all aspects his client’s situation. Victoria certainly wastes no time getting back into the swing of things. Rome’s James Purefoy has been cast as the other half of a very passionate love affair. He’ll pop up in late February.
