Here’s more on Cardinal, season one, from Hulu:

In this atmospheric thriller, demoted Detective John Cardinal (Billy Campbell, The Killing, Once and Again, The Rocketeer) is brought back in to Homicide when the hunch he wouldn’t let go about the disappearance of a 13-year-old girl is proven correct. Now, as he relentlessly tracks a serial killer, he must keep a watchful eye on his new partner, Detective Lise Delorme (Karine Vanasse, Revenge), who he believes may have a secret agenda, while managing family issues of his own.

Cardinal is a serialised six-part one-hour drama based on the critically acclaimed novels by Giles Blunt. The series is written by Aubrey Nealon (Orphan Black) who also acts as Executive Producer for the series alongside Sienna Films’ Jennifer Kawaja and Julia Sereny, and is directed by award-winner Daniel Grou (Vikings).

Featuring gripping drama and high emotional stakes, and anchored by rich and engaging characters, Cardinal uses shifting points of view to deliver a suspense thriller.
