What’s This TV Show About?
A Netflix supernatural horror drama, Chambers stars Sivan Alyra Rose, Lilliya Reid, Nicholas Galitzine, Kyanna Simone Simpson, Lilli Kay, Sarah Mezzanotte, Griffin Powell-Arcand, Marcus LaVoi, Tony Goldwyn, and Uma Thurman. The psychological thriller centers on Native American high school student Sasha Yazzie (Rose), who at just 17 years old suffers a heart attack and receives a transplant from Becky Lefevre (Reid), a seemingly picture-perfect suburban white girl of means. As Sasha starts taking on Becky’s traits, she decides to investigate what’s behind it, in order stop to herself from this unwanted transformation.
Chambers has been cancelled so there won’t be a second season. Could it be revived someday? Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Unless they decide to publicize viewership, it is difficult to predict whether Netflix will cancel or renew Chambers for season two. Netflix renewals tend to come earlier (within a month or so) — no news is not always good news.
