The fifth season of the Comedy Bang! Bang! TV series premieres with two back-to-back episodes, Friday, June 3rd at 11:00pm ET/PT and 11:30pm ET/PT on IFC. ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic joins Scott Aukerman’s scripted talk show as his new bandleader and co-host.

Season five of Comedy Bang! Bang! contains 20 episodes. IFC will run the first ten episodes through to July 1st. The second half of the season will return to IFC, this fall. Guest stars in the fifth season include: Kevin Bacon, Kaley Cuoco, Nathan Fielder, Ben Folds, Tony Hale, Joe Jonas, Aubrey Plaza, Kristen Schaal, T-Pain, Tegan and Sara and The Lonely Island comedy trio (Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone).

COMEDY BANG! BANG!’S “WEIRDEST” SEASON YET SEASON FIVE PREMIERES JUNE 3

Comedy Bang! Bang! is getting weirder this season…and it’s not just thanks to the new bandleader and co-host, “Weird Al” Yankovic. Season five, premiering with two back-to-back episodes on Friday, June 3 at 11:00pm ET/PT and 11:30pm ET/PT on IFC, brings us the highly-anticipated return of the surreal, wildly entertaining scripted talk show, hosted and created by Scott Aukerman. The new season returns with 20 episodes filled with an exciting line-up of guest stars, including award-winning musicians, top-tier comics, sketch luminaries, and the star of an 80’s classic dance movie, each joining in on the fun with Scott and Al. Every week, two back-to-back episodes will air starting at 11:00pm; the first 10 episodes run through July 1, and the remaining 10 episodes will air on IFC this fall.
