Community has finally come to a close it seems. Fans have been wondering about the fate of the former NBC series since Yahoo decided to pull the plug on Yahoo Screen. With no official announcement of the show’s cancellation, the fate has been up in the air since late last year.
Now, there is a new nail in the coffin, according to TV Line. The DVD art for the season six DVD box set calls season six the final season of the show. The DVD is set for release on March 8, according to TV Shows on DVD.
Fans might see the cast together again though. There has always been talk about taking Community to the big screen. In an interview over the summer, Dan Harmon said, “We wait a little bit, let [the cast] explore their awesome careers, and then we get together for an incredible movie.”
