Last November, ABC cut Cougar Town’s season order from 22 episodes down to 15 because they’d planned to bring it back in the spring. There’s no word if this scheduling move will mean that the alphabet network will restore part of their original installment order.
Until Cougar Town returns, the 8:30pm timeslot will be filled by Last Man Standing reruns. ABC recently ordered two more episodes of the Tim Allen comedy, bringing the season total to 24 installments.

“Ain’t Love Strange” – Jules is miffed when Grayson (who has an ulterior motive) calls her “predictable”; Ellie frets that little Stan is turning into a “devil child,” or even worse, could grow up to be like Laurie; and Travis likes his new off campus housing, until Bobby tries to convince him to take dog Travis in, on the Third-Season premiere of “Cougar Town,” TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 14 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
“Cougar Town” stars Courteney Cox as Jules, Christa Miller as Ellie, Busy Philipps as Laurie, Dan Byrd as Travis, Josh Hopkins as Grayson, Ian Gomez as Andy and Brian Van Holt as Bobby.
Guest stars include Robert Clendenin as Tom, Shawn Parikh as Sig and Sawyer Ever as Little Stan.
“Ain’t Love Strange” was written and directed by Bill Lawrence.
