Courteney Cox is returning to television. The actress, who started her television career on Friends and was last seen on Cougar Town on TBS, has a new comedy in development at FOX.
Cox would both star and executive produce the series that is coming from writer-producer Robert Padnick and ABC Studios, according to Deadline.
The Deadline report shared the details about the comedy’s plot:
“The untitled project, which is in consideration for a pilot order, centers on Hailey (Cox), a woman who inherits her late billionaire husband’s charity and quickly finds that changing the world is far less glamorous than she had imagined.”
