What’s This TV Show About?
An HBO scripted comedy, Crashing stars creator Pete Holmes in a semi-autobiographical role. Also starring are Lauren Lapkus, George Basil, Ali Reissen, Jamie Lee, Dov Davidoff, Jermaine Fowler, Aparna Nancherla, and Madeline Wise. Dave Attell, John Mulaney, and Artie Lange recur in season three as versions of themselves. The series follows Pete (Holmes), who dives into the cutthroat NYC comedy scene, after his marriage falls apart.
Other guest stars in the third season of Crashing include Ray Romano, Amy Schumer, Estee Adoram, Wayne Federman, Greg Fitzsimmons, Chris Gethard, Kevin Brennan, Elon Gold, Joyelle Johnson, Jessica Kirson, Emo Philips, Colin Quinn, Vanessa Ramos, Modi Rosenfeld, Wil Sylvinces, Marissa Jaret Winokur, and Jaboukie Young-White.
Season Three Ratings
The third season of Crashing averaged a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 376,000 viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 3% in the demo and up by 7% in viewership. Learn how Crashing stacks up against the other HBO TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Will HBO cancel or renew Crashing for season four? The numbers continue to be very low but I suspect that the series will continue as long as Holmes wants to make it.
