Airing on The CW television network, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow stars Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Dominic Purcell, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Nick Zano, Tala Ashe, Ramona Young, Tom Wilson, Matt Ryan, Jes Macallan, and Courtney Ford. In the fourth season, Constantine (Ryan) arrives to explain to the Legends that “Fugitives” — magical creatures from myths, fairytales, and legends — have infected history, as a consequence of killing of Mallus.
The fourth season of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is averaging a 0.31 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 950,000 viewers. Compared to season three, that’s down by 35% and 37%, respectively. Given the network’s success with DC Universe shows, the renewal comes as no surprise.
Currently on hiatus, season four of the series resumes on April 1, 2019.
Today, The CW also announced that nine other TV shows had been renewed for the 2019-20 season: Arrow, Black Lightning, Charmed, Dynasty, The Flash, Legacies, Riverdale, Supergirl, and Supernatural. The fates of All American and Roswell, New Mexico have yet to be announced.
What do you think? Do you enjoy the DC’s Legends of Tomorrow TV show on The CW? Are you glad that it’s been renewed for a fifth season?
