FBI: International will be losing a cast member during its upcoming third season. Per Deadline, Heida Reed (above, left) is leaving the Dick Wolf series. She has played Special Agent Jamie Kellett since the show’s debut in September 2021.
Starring Reed, Luke Kleintank, Carter Redwood, Vinessa Vidotto, and Eva-Jane Willis, the series follows the FBI’s international “Fly Team”, a team of elite Special Agents headquartered in Budapest. They are tasked with locating and neutralizing threats against American interests around the world, principally in Europe.
Reed’s character is second in command of the elite squad. It was reported that Reed’s exit from the series was a creative decision, but no other details were revealed.
In May 2022, CBS renewed FBI: International for the second and third seasons. Season two debuted in September of last year and season three will arrive on CBS on February 13th.
What do you think? Are you surprised or disappointed by Reed’s exit from the CBS series?
